Explorer Maps are at a scale of 1:25,000 are highly detailed and easy-to-use, which make the walk or climb chosen a more enjoyable experience.
The Explorer has replaced the old Pathfinders and Outdoor Leisure maps. Mapkiosk stocks the entire range of Explorer that covers the entire Great Britain.

| Landranger maps at 1:50,000 scale show all camping and caravan sites, plus other useful information, a must for anyone camping or caravaning.

| The Explorer maps at 1:25,000 scale are the best maps to use for Mountain Biking to find the best bridle ways. Geographical based sheets make these ideal companions for any cyclist going off-road. The Landranger map series at 1:50,000 scale will show the national and regional cycle routes throughout Great Britain and are good for finding the best quiet roads
For long distance cycle touring the road maps at 1:250,000 may be best for the overview and Landrangers for the detail, depending on your requirements. |
