OS Sitemap - A4 Size - England, Scotland and Wales

Its main use is for property location plans especially in connection with planning permission, insurance claims, and conveyancing etc.

The product is now available in colour or black & white for paper and TIFF versions

Scale 1:1,250 - DXF are scaled within Autocad.
Choice of Scales
Three scales are available with respective ground coverage

1:500 - 80 m by 80 m
1:1250 - 200 m by 200 m
1:2500 - 400 m by 400 m
1:500 are also known as block plans.
1:1250 is the normal scale for planning applications.

Please note if 1:2500 is selected for an Urban area then the cost is £60 for paper - we will advise you if this is the case.

We recommend for Planning purposes and Land Registry that B/W are used.

Paper - 6 copies supplied on A4 paper - in Colour or B/W - Sent by Post
PDF - by email - For printing at your end - in Colour or B/W. Sent during normal office hours and Saturday Morning
Electronic copies can be provided either as TIF file (£27.23+vat) or DXF file (£40+vat)
The size of the file is usually around 250Kb
For TIF files you still need to specify the scale required.
DXF file is suitable for use with CAD packages and gives more flexibility.
TIF and DXF Files
A DXF file will be provided with a ground coverage of 200m x 200m (urban) or 372m x 372m (rural).
Please note that TIF and DXF files will be forwarded by email during office hours, and as soon as possible.
Please also note that the shopping basket will indicate that it will be sent by Parcel force - please ignore this, it will be sent by email.
VAT
Paper products are Zero VAT
Data by either PDF, TIF or DXF are subject to VAT at 17.5%
